High Leverage Shears

Usually have longer handles compared to the blade length. This allows the user to cut thicker materials, with less hand closing pressure. High leverage shears cut applications such as carpets, light metal, wire, leather, banding, cordage, heavy fabrics and strapping. These shears can also be modified to have blunted or fillistered tips.

For carpet applications, 9269R handles are bent to the right and 9269L handles are bent to the left for LEFT HANDERS. We recommend to add a heavy serration for synthetic uses.
